Westcon and Edgewater Networks Sign EMEA Distribution Agreement

Breaking down the barriers for SMBs to adopt video conferencing solutions

Crawley, UK, February 14th, 2014 - Westcon Group, a value-added distributor of category-leading unified communications, network infrastructure, data centre and security solutions with a global network of specialty resellers, today announced it has signed an EMEA distribution agreement with Edgewater Networks, a specialist in video border security to drive growth in the video conferencing market for SMBs.

Edgewater solutions remove the barriers of point of entry that resellers have previously faced trying to sell video conferencing solutions to SMBs both for the end user and the reseller. For the reseller accreditation and certification charges are lower than larger vendors therefore reducing cost of entry and increasing speed to market. The end user customer can also benefit from lower costs as less infrastructure is required, and the solution is easy and fast to deploy.
